It bugs me when people denigrate flowers or plants as a subject...they are neither objects nor animals, and I never know here where to categorize them...it is not fair, because these beings (who communicate with each other and other species, make noise when injured, and learn without brains) are what drives the planet...the more we ignore them, the more we will die. In fact, the dependence on plants is one of the greatest obstacles to space travel.
