This is a shot of the Milky Way, I had a chance to capture, the night before the 2017 Solar Eclipse. I found this composition by accident. I had laid by gear bag down by a log and setup and the waters edge. I went back to my bag a little while later to grab a different lens and as I stood there waiting for my shutter to close, so I could change my lens, I noticed the milky way framed by these pine trees. I was hoping it would turn out. Soon after, my friends that were with me, jumped in to steal this composition, but its all good...lol.
