Location
I took this picture in Barcelona just in front of La Sagrada Familia of the architect GaudiTime
This photograph was taken without a tripod, standing on a lamp post in front of the cathedral. I took several shots with a canon 16-35 f / 2.8 lens that I had at that time, I tried to capture the movement of the visitors who were there and avoid the buses that passed by the front. I liked the resulting photograph quite a bit and included it in a couple of exhibitions. Now when I see her it brings back very good memories of those days in Barcelona.Lighting
I was at a time in my photography career in which I was interested in adding movement to my images. ND filters and low exposure of up to 10 minutes became my main allies. I love those trails of light that passersby leave when passing in front of my camera, while my shutter is capturing everything that moves in the composition. The results are amazing, 2d images that capture a longer slice of life.Equipment
I was using a Canon 5d mark II and a Canon 16-35 f / 2.8 lens without a tripod at the time because I was traveling. The tripod was anything that offered me a bit of stability on the ground to leave my camera open for a few seconds or several minutes.Inspiration
Undoubtedly, a monument like La sagrada Familia inspires any travel photographer to take a photo, but being so many monuments I think that at that time I took refuge in the ND filters to bring some soul to my imagesEditing
Post-production is very important to me, it is where the second part of the magic happens. I edit my photos in Lightroom and enjoy every moment of doing it.In my camera bag
I am wearing a Leica Sl2 with a Supervario Leica 16-35 lens. I am a wide-angle photographer. I also travel with a long lens that although it weighs a lot I never put it down. Batteries always have a pair, charger, flash, and batteries. Enough memories and little else.Feedback
If I tried to take this photo again I think I would do the same, only this time I would carry a tripod to be able to use a very very very slow exposure, and that the magic is done.
