This abandoned trestle was once part of the Washington DC & Great Falls electric railroad. The tracks have since been removed and nature has taken back the land. This is 1 of a few remaining trestles that remain. Although this bridge is rusted & in disrepair I can't help but appreciate the beauty of the quality construction & try to imagine how it looked in its hay-day.
