This garden was originally used on the mainland of Tenby by the monks from nearby Caldey Island. It was kept private for them to come and sit, look out over the ocean with their private thoughts. Over the decades it became public with the more tourists that the town attracted, more-so with it being situated directly on the side of a busy side street in the town. The view from the 'not so often visited' garden overlooks the ocean, the many wide variety of boats that moor in the small harbour and the very large 'St.Catherine's rock' that houses a once used castle on the top of it.The castle itself is in complete ruins now, but must have, as the monks looked over it, been quite a scenic site.
