From the Wiki: Bryggen (the dock), also known as Tyskebryggen, is a series of Hanseatic commercial buildings lining the eastern side of the Vågen harbour in Bergen, Norway. Bryggen has since 1979 been on the UNESCO list for World Cultural Heritage sites.
About the image: Our day in Bergen didn't go as planned. It was raining heavily the whole day and we didn't have much to do, so we took our car and drove out of the Bergen to explore the surroundings. Well it was raining everywhere. We drove about 100km and reached Hellesøy and from there we drove back to Bergen, took few shots in-between but nothing of satisfactory level. It was good experience exploring that side, but still at the back of my mind I was literally praying for the rain to stop. And it did at the night. So the time came to explore Bryggen!
