There is no doubt that the wildebeest migration is one of nature's most spectacular events. But the harsh reality is that thousands of these animals don't make it.
On this particular day, we'd started the morning further up the river watching hundreds of wildebeest make it across the Mara River, in a frenzied and chaotic crossing.
Many bodies of those that don't make it however, end up at this 'graveyard' of sorts, stuck amongst the rocks ensuring the vultures never go hungry.
This is nature.
