I went out yesterday morning for a bit after a trip to the chiropractor. I wanted to enjoy the brief respite from winter that our 51-60 degree weather had provided. This is one of the images I made at Beaver Island State Park on Grand Island. There was lovely mist floating across the river's surface and most all of the recent snowfall had melted away. My last stop and most frustrating moment was at Buckhorn Island State Park on the north end of the island. the fog had built to a point that Eagle Island looked like it was floating in the sky. The moment the camera was set up a strong wind started, blew out the fog and rains came down. In 5 minutes the temps dropped 10 degrees and now we are back in 15 degree temps with snow on the ground. Fun while it lasted.
