There is no more iconic location that represents the Monterey-Carmel area than "Lone Cypress". It is quite simply the most photographed location around. I have waited a week for what I thought would be the ideal weather conditions for the image I wanted and this is it. Nikon D810, iso 64, f-16, 32mm, 100sec. exposure using the Lee "Big Stopper" 10 stop ND filter. Post processed in, LR, PS and Nik SilverFX.

Striking and dramatic. Very creative, as you have chosen an angle quite a bit different from what is normally taken of this tree. Also the B&W was a great choice for these conditions.
