Dinosaur Tracks and the Milky Way
One of the locations in the Black Mesa, Oklahoma I love so much is this area is this set of dinosaur tracks. Not only is the Black Mesa extremely dark but it also has so many hidden treasures including areas such as this. I knew I wanted to go here at night and capture the Milky Way over the footprints. The Theropod (three toed dinosaur) which walked on two legs was enjoying a day along the edge of the creek but clumsy this dinosaur was, it ended up slipping and falling into the creek. Sliding down the rough edge this unknown theropod landed in this creek and continued to walk until till eventually exiting the creek, then continuing to do whatever it is dinosaurs did. Who knew this dinosaur would leave its mark of clumsiness for over 150 million years proving that even dinosaurs might not be sure footed! Lol ????
