Like Cow, Like Calf

Sorry for not posting much recently, I have been out shooting just didn't have my computer with me. This last week I spent up in Algonquin Park, Ontario, Canada. The weather was not sunny but a nice flat light almost all week making for great exposures. With the mild temperatures I think the moose were confused. Usually this time of year you don't spot too many moose but this last trip I managed to spot about 15 moose as well as other wildlife including two wolves! :) In this image I captured a cow and her calf or yearling. It was amazing that the young one stepped up to be the same height a the cow and both posed for a photo op. I sure hope the snow and colder weather shows up soon so I can get back to snowshoeing and tracking! :D Thanks everyone for viewing and feel free to share.

If you are interested in having a private lesson, guide or joining one of next years workshops feel free to email me or keep an eye on my photography page and website.
