It is a karst cave, mostly known as the "Eyes of God". They are located in the middle of the 262-meters long cave, illuminating the interior and providing a uniquely view of the sky above. Layered side by side, they have the striking almond shape and the appearance of eyes that seem to stare at visitors. These "eyes" are the result of natural erosion forces. The cave has two entrances which lie opposite one another - Small Entrance and the Big Entrance. The size of the Big Entrance of Prohodna cave makes it very suitable for bungee jumping, and it is among the popular spots in Bulgaria for that activity.
