It was a long/quick trip that day. Coming from Holly, Michigan to Elizabeth town Kentucky. I drove with my brother on a road trip real quick to surprise his girlfriend with a proposal. She was an hour and a half behind us. My brother was waiting nervously and was constantly pacing. He took a quick break and sat down. It was probably the most nerve wreaking experience for my brother, but I was happy to share that day with him. She said yes!Editing
I took this photo in color. It was way too washed out so I turned it black and white. I upped the contrast. sooo much better.In my camera bag

I was the surprise photographer for my brother's engagement. Be ready for all the moments, not just during, but before the engagement. Photograph everything! You could just take a guy dressed up to the park, on a park bench and ask him to think about his life and future. See what you come up with.
