I took this photo in a campground near Yosemite in the California foothills. It was a very warm and sunny day in Autumn.Time
It was around noon and I was camping with family and getting my camera out to charge it for a hike the next dayLighting
It was a very bright day and the sun was beaming through the bright orange and yellow maple trees we planted in the mountains a few years beforeEquipment
Used a Nikon Coolpix s100 without any other equipment and natural lighting was about itInspiration
I saw the beautiful maple trees in their natural color with the beautiful sunlight and I thought I had to get a picture before all the leaves fall and just like that I took the picture against the tree trunkEditing
I didn't know editing or any type of enhancements while taking the photoIn my camera bag
I used Adobe Photoshop to edit the photo and enhance it and I also added color enhancements and a lens flare to the photo and I also changed the contrast and slight lighting fixesFeedback
Try and go for the look of having the tree be at the position of the sunlight coming through and try to line the camera up along looking up at up the tree and also use Adobe Photoshop or any other Editor to enhance the colors to make it pop out
