Location
The photo was taken when I was traveling across Lofoten islands, E10 road. This place is just several meters away from the road, but the nearest village is Reine, not Sorvagen.Time
It was afternoon time, somewhere around 4 pm.Lighting
It was cloudy sky but still with some occasional sunbeams; this sometimes gives quaint views.Equipment
I use Nikon D750 camera, and my standard lens is universal zoom 24-120 mm, F4. I normally do not use tripod when exposure is good enough for short enough shutter intervals.Inspiration
Photography is my hobby, I learn it in my spare time and I like to travel and take pictures. Landscapes is one of my favorite things to shoot. I had the 'escape trip' vacation in October 2017 from St.Petersburg to Lofoten islands, so I just drove till the very end of E10 road in Å, making stops where I saw something worth stopping. The problem during this trip was that there were so many such places! This photo shows just one of them.Editing
I'm not a professional photographer so I do just some simple post-processing in Adobe Lightroom - colors, clarity, exposure corrections, whites/blacks/shadows/highlights, cropping. I also use presets, but sometimes do some more edits after applying a preset. In my camera bag
Camera (Nikon D750 with Nikkor F4/24-120 mm lens), neutral UF filter is almost always on; polarizing filter and neutral gradient filter (for too bright sky). For photo tours, like this one to Norway, I also have wide-angle 16-28 mm Tokina zoom (very sharp) and tele zoom Nikkor 80-400 mm. Lens cleaning pen, spare batteries, tripod, SD cards...Feedback
Travel with your eyes wide open - look around for amazing things. Colorful landscapes, lights and shadows, flying birds, running waves - the world around us is beautiful; however, sometimes we just need to look at it differently...
