Location
I was walking through Valetta in Malta, and saw a doorway which led to this. I don't know whether this is an office entrance or a restaurant. Either way it is the beams and lighting along with the steps and curve which caught my eye.Time
It was around 3pm - I can't remember exactly. I went off and explored somewhere different everyday using the bus service, ending the day back in Valetta for a walk around it's streets.Lighting
There was very little I could do about lighting - other than editing afterward, which I didn't do as I didn't want to alter the depth of the image and the highlights created towards the rear of the tunnel.Equipment
My bridge camera. Sony Cybershot DSC-HX400VInspiration
It was a spur of the moment shot. I possibly wouldn't have found this doorway again. I like to find unusual shapes, scenes, objects as well as landscapes from my travels.Editing
none on this imageIn my camera bag
Just the camera on a normal day - unless I am planning on taking long exposures etc in which case I will have my tripod. I also have a clear sphere for inverting the image and the uv lens is a permanent fixture.Feedback
Pay attention when you are walking anywhere and turn around from time to time. It is amazing how the scene changes with just a minor angle change.
