Behind The Lens

Location

At the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque campus.

Time

This is from a series of photos taken mid-afternnoon 12/09/2017.

Lighting

There is just as much sunlight in December in Albquerque, but it's not as hot. Still, I had to be careful not to overexpose. Iso 400. 1/320 sec. f/14 36mm

Equipment

Canon ISO 40D with tripod. Aperture at 7.63.

Inspiration

The photos are of my step-daughter, on the occasion of her pending receipt of her Master's degree. The photoshoot was her idea, to remember her time at the University, and have photos to attach to cards for her graduation party.

Editing

Since the background was a University landmark, I later copped out the upper part of the photo.

In my camera bag

I carry a both a Canon Zoom lens: EF 75-300mm, and a Canon macro lens: EFS 18-55. I carry a Sunpak, low-profile flash, extra batteries, spare lens cap, and an extra memory card.
