Location
This photo was taken from my front veranda during sunset at Woomera South Australia. The serenity, colour and beauty of the Australian outback is something you need to capture to remind yourself that sometimes you just need to sit back and realise how inspiring our world can be.Time
This was taken in December 2017 around 8.30pm on a hot summer evening at sunset. I remember it being a balmy evening with storm clouds around, as the sun set the colour was amazing and was the perfect setting for a cold beer and the camera after a hot day at work around the mid 40 degree Celsius.Lighting
This picture was basically aim and shoot as the view and colour told the rest of the story. I just wanted to capture the original colour and vastness of the outback.Equipment
This was captured with my Olympus E-M5 and from memory I don't think I even used my tripod. No special equipment just the beauty of the sunset.Inspiration
I think the view and serenity is the inspiration, who wouldn't be inspired to take a shot of the beautiful natural colour our clouds and sun can make.Editing
This photo is the original colour no post - processing, I didn't want to spoil the natural beauty I had seen.In my camera bag
My camera bag is always packed and ready to go, it consists of my Olympus EM-5, 4 Olympus lenses (macro 60mm, 40-150mm, 14-42mm, 45mm) a flash, waterproof cover bag, a Manfrotto tripod and my little torch with a red lens filter. There are plenty of other lenses I would like but this is my little package and I love it.Feedback
Capture what you see beauty in and what makes you feel good, set your imagination free and see where it takes you. Wear your camera like it's part of you because if you don't snap that shot at the time it may be gone forever, life is to short capture it in pictures!
