Interesting ... your canals are so much narrower than ours. We live on the Rideau canal system that runs 200kms. Great trip in summer. In winter, one section in Ottawa converts to a 7km skating rink. I have seen a British canal boat ???? over here on the Rideau that a chap brought over to Canada.
