I very rarely swim out alone, but this day I decided to do just that. I went out to a nice patch of reef that met a very nicely textured sand. It was pretty nice just floating out there alone and not worrying about what anyone else wanted to do. After a while in the same spot, this manta ray swam right towards me. I spent several minutes with it, but shooting it's beautifully spotted belly with the sunburst effect shining around it, was a stand out moment.
