I took this picture in September of 2016 at Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in TN.

Never before had I seen this many butterflies in their natural habitat in one spot! I was told by another spectator that the butterflies were drinking the water. During my research, I discovered that there are certain minerals they need that are not provided in nectar alone, and the minerals are found in standing water or mud puddles!!! Our Creator never ceases to amaze me!!!
