Location
This photo was taken at Markham airport in Meriden, Connecticut.Time
Early afternoon clouds and a ray of Sun once in a while.Lighting
Planes are beautiful in the Sun, however this particular one, being a brand new, acted as a perfect reflection to all of the clouds.Equipment
My "little" DSLR: Canon T1i with a Tamron 18-200 Lens is a perfect choice for everyday use.Inspiration
My youngest son wants to be a pilot. We spent many hours watching his take-offs and landings at this airport. He started to fly before he was driving a car, so he had to be driven to and from the airport. There is always something beautiful or interesting in the world of aviation. I wanted to take a photo of this beautiful plane in the way that you actually have to look twice before you know what the subject is. I'm not sure if I accomplished that task, but for someone who is not into planes, maybe.....Editing
Not much of post-processing, mostly increased highlights and conversion to Black and White. In my camera bag
It varies in what I do. Lately, I keep a pair of my Canon 50d's with different lenses, and naturally my Lumia Mobile Phone which is a sign of times and takes surprisingly great macros.Feedback
