Thank you. Five minutes after this shot heavy rain and thunder chased us away from the cliffs.

Thank you for participating in my challenge for contest and challenge winning photos! Was very hard to choose among so many winning photos! REALLY love this lovely landscape photo where you knocked superb composition out of the ballpark!

Location
The photo was taken on the northern shore of Prince Edward Island. One of my favorite places for vacations are Canadian Maritime Provinces.Time
Late in the afternoon weather started to change and clouds started to chase away beautiful sunny day. Once first raindrops fell we went for a walk along the shore, and I decided to leave my camera bag in the car.Lighting
One of the most beautiful things one can see is a Sun and the clouds on the ocean just before the storm. Lighting is always different and unique.Equipment
As I mentioned before, I left my camera bag in the car since it started to sprinkle. There is a plenty of opportunity to take pictures with our cell phones, it is always a good backup option. When I buy a new phone, camera is always the most important feature. My Windows Lumia (former Nokia) actually was used on this shot. It was a good choice since in about a minute from capture time it started to rain badly and we all returned to the car soaked.Inspiration
You don't really need any inspirations if you are looking at incredible views like this one. Camera almost turns itself on and I just push the shutter button. Haha.Editing
Very little post processing was needed. Grass in the foreground was a bit too dark and that's pretty much it. I didn't want to make the picture too bright because it would not show a real feeling of the moment. In my camera bag
I have always used Canon as my primary camera. Years ago with a Kodachrome slides and now digital. I have a pair of Canon 50d's and many original Canon lenses. Many are older and I used it in my film cameras before (Canon A2). Now days, I love to use also my Windows Lumia mobile phone since I always have it with me, and pictures are actually very good. Naturally it is much bigger challenge but post processing can fix a quite bit of the problems.Feedback
In my opinion over processing of an image takes away from the real picture. I grew up in the era of film cameras and I used slides. No post processing there. Now along with my DSLR's I use a mobile phone. I love it not only because I always have it with me, but also because most people do not pay any attention to me when I take a shot. Many of the pictures I posted on the ViewBug are Lumia images and some are also scanned Kodachrome slides. I still have my Canon A2 and I love it.
