On a solo trip around Scotland, my main ambition was to visit these amazing islands. Having learnt so many interesting facts about this place and leaving with a fantastic view of the setting sun on the great slabs of 60 million year old rock, is a sobering thought being that we need to respect our planet as it has been here a great deal longer than us and although we can't survive without it, it certainly can without us.
