Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at Historic Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond, Virginia.

Time

This was taken during a group photo shoot with the Richmond Photography Meetup Group in the mid to late afternoon in November 2017.

Lighting

I love to take advantage of the natural light.

Equipment

This was shot with my Panasonic Lumix G7 Mirrorless and a 70-300mm zoom lens and was handheld.

Inspiration

Hollywood is one of my favorite places to go and shoot in my hometown. Dating from the late 1800s there are many old trees and beautifull statues as it overlooks the city skyline.

Editing

I used basic Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to bring out the shadows and colors.

In my camera bag

I always pack my Lumix G7, the great 17-55mm kit lens, a zoom lens and 50mm prime 1.8 lens.
