The quilt is one I designed and hand quilted for a dear friend in memory of her 30 year old daughter who died suddenly and unexpectedly last Spring. The center of each log cabin block has horses running free. The photo was taken at Deep Run Hunt Club in Virginia where these horses were turned out in the pasture. I will be giving it to her this week.
