Lake Superior offers many unique and temporary icicles which are formed as the waves crash over the rocks. When the calm returns and the water laps at the hanging icicles small balls of ice form at the bottom! If the day warms up enough everything will melt and be gone. Mother Nature’s Art may only last a Day or two so the photographer can not always wait around until it warms up! Hence the name Frozen Finger Foto!
