Location
This photo was taken in the zoo of Bouillon, a small village on the border with France and Belgium.Time
This photo was taken, at the end of the afternoon. The light was really warm even though this was in the winter.Lighting
This was shot with natural light.Equipment
I've used my Canon 70D and canon 70-200 F2.8 IS USM II, handheld.Inspiration
This massive bird, had a certain look in his eyes, I felt like he was seeing through me. I tried to capture that on camera.Editing
I only cropped the image a bit, I wanted a central position of the bird.In my camera bag
I alias carry my body, a Canon 70D with me, 2 of my favorite lenses, a Canon 70-200 and a Sigma 18-35 Art. Also I carry with me, too much SD cards, because I never want to be without.Feedback
You don't have to go to remote places. It is of course more spectacular is you capture a wild animal, but this majestic creature was being majestic in the zoo.
