Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in my apartment.

Time

I remember sitting at the table, late afternoon, looking at my dog and noticing that the light coming from the window was just perfect.

Lighting

The lighting was that kind of lighting we get in the afternoon where is the sun is setting and the lighting is just perfect. In this photo, it was coming from the window from the left, and my dog was sitting still, as if he knew...

Equipment

This was shot on a Nikon D3300, with a 50 mm lens.

Inspiration

The only thing that inspired me to take this photo was the way the light reflected on my dog. As with most photos I take, I rarely plan anything. I do things as I go and everything is just so much more natural and spontaneous. It's always better that way.

Editing

It was a while ago, but I remember using Lightroom for the post-processing.

In my camera bag

In my small bag, I usually carry my Nikon D5300 and my two lenses - 50 mm and 18-55 mm.
