My daughters and I visited NYC for the first time in October, 2017. We had the standard list of tourist-y things we wanted to do--ride the Staten Island Ferry, see the Fearless Girl staring down the Bowling Green Bull, stroll through Chinatown, walk the High Line, and catch a couple of musicals on Broadway. Someone suggested that, while we were uptown, we visit the September 11 Memorial, and so we did.
