On the past October 15th Portugal as faced one of the most tragic days of this year. More than 500 forest fires ravaged the country, and some of them were right a few minutes from my house.
I was waiting for the arrival of the weather front caused by the passage of the hurricane Ophelia, that was bringing a "belt" of clouds from the sea, but I ended up capturing on the same shoot one of the fires in the region. It was supposed to be an happy Sunday sunset shoot, but it will stand for me a memory of a very sad day for Portuguese people.
