This beautiful monument sits high above the Columbia Gorge. Wild horses led by a stallion was designed and cut out of steel by David Govedare from Chewelah, Wa. He started the project on his ranch in 1991 and then assembled them atop the ridge. The art work was originally to be named "Grandfather Cuts Loose The Ponies".
