Behind The Lens
Location
This image was taken at Corbett Tiger ReserveTime
This was taken during our afternoon safari and was taken around 5 pmLighting
As it was around 5pm the sun had just gone behind the mountains and this made the light soft and helped in getting the exposure right.Equipment
I had taken this using Canon 5D mk3 with 500 f/4 is 2.Inspiration
The mother elephant was feeding beside the track along with the calf, wanted to capture the relationship of mother and calf, saw the mother collecting the tufts of grass before consuming it, this was practised by the calf as well.Editing
Basic processing of raw image with few changes. In my camera bag
I carry two camera bodies one with the telephoto lens and the other one with a wide angle.Feedback
Would basically say that observation and patience is very important while on the field.
