This is one of my all-time favorite photos. Winter 2014 I took it upon myself to visit Machu Picchu, but I did not just visit, I hiked there (unsupported) from Cusco. It took a few days, but eventually I made it to Aguas Calientes and up to see the ancient ruins. This bridge was on one of the last few days and I had to cross the river by hopping over the planks of wood. The beauty was simple, but real.
