Behind The Lens

Location

As usual with most of my photos, it's pretty spontaneous. So when I saw this spiderweb, I was lucky to have my camera with me. I was driving in south of Jutland in the countryside.

Time

I believe it was in the middle of the day, when I spotted the beautiful web. I have been dreaming of the oppotunity to shoot a image like this for many years! I have admired my fathers ability to find and shoot images like this when I was young.

Lighting

This is shot on auto, so I have no thoughts about settings to share. I was only thinking on getting it in focus.

Equipment

I used my sony cyber shot dsc-hx400v/b, handheld on auto, without flash or anything.

Inspiration

A little "pre-story". My farther was an amateur photografher. He used to shoot manuel and he developed the photos on his own. He had this thing for spiderweb with dew in rimlight. I have often been thinking "this can not be easy" and "If I can do this, I am getting "better" So when I saw this web at a rest area in the country side I had to try.

Editing

I have no processing skils. I only crop or correct light/darker, colors-more or less, and correct angle if tilted. This is cropped from an image where almost the intire web was shown.

In my camera bag

sony cyber shot dsc-hx400v/b as my only equipment.

Feedback

Look and then look closer. Get close an then get closer.
