Lighting

Being indoors time of day doesn't matter As far as lighting the shot was through glass in very low light to simulate the jungle floor where the Jaguars live.

Equipment

No tripod ,so hand held

Inspiration

I have a daughter who is crazy about big cats and the challenge of low light and thick glass

Editing

Not much post a little increase in contrast and convert to black and white

In my camera bag

Most of my photos are takin while hiking I usually have my 7D mk2 on a Black Rapid strap , and a couple of lens wipes and maybe a pair of empty memory cards and a extra battery. If I have the 1.4 extender on the 100-400 Canon on I will take a monopod

Feedback

I must have taken 500 pics of those Jaguars checking exposure and how it looked on the back of the camera before I got the best exposure and making sure I didn't get any reflections in the glass.
