this is very neat, it looks like a cross between a painting and a photograph, love it

At first I didn't know if they were real. Beautiful combination of surrealism and reality!

Location
This was shot at The Milwaukee County Zoo in Milwaukee Wisconsin, inside the Cat HouseTime
This was an indoor shotLighting
The lighting in the exhibit is usually dark , I was using AV mode on my Canon SX50 2 previous tries were too dark to seeEquipment
Handheld Canon SX50Inspiration
The challenge, low light and reflections off the thick glass make focus difficult also the cats themselves are so beautiful !Editing
Just some minor color/tone adjustments and sharpeningIn my camera bag
Until March 2016 it was just the SX50 and an extra battery now it's a 7D mkII and a Tamron 16-300, 20mm pancake lens and the Canon 18 - 135 kit lens, Promaster CV525 Tripod , 2 extra batteries, and a car charger, a Raincoat for the camera , lens cleaning stuff, Beef Jerky, Flashlight , Spare SD and CF cards and of course the trusty SX50.Feedback
Keep trying I probably had over 400 pics of those Jaguars over the course of 5 or 6 visits that I had deleted before I got everthing right keep trying, study your mistakes and learn from them.
