The Point Reyes Shipwreck was an iconic wooden boat stuck on a sandbar in the town of Inverness .It's so peaceful and beautiful. There's something haunting about the rippling reflection of the small pond right below it.

Love this. I'm assuming you created the mood in post and if so, bravo. The tone is great. It creates a haunting/eerie feeling. Really fabulous.

Location
This image was taken at Point Reyes National Seashore, California.Time
This image definitely is my favorite because it took me five trips to this town which is about two hours from home but to get there at the perfect time to get that magic light that you don't even have to work much on post process because everything is right. The sunset was on back.Lighting
I was lucky that day a perfect magic light the sun was on my back the clouds made the perfect filter that no one can buy. soft pastel tones just magic. Funny short story is I'm color blind and for me to produce the right and give justice to my photos is a challenge.Equipment
I used a Sony A68 (crop sensor) with a Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8, my heavy slik tripod which is a tank but i love it with a manfrotto ball head.Inspiration
The iconic old shipwreck from Point Reyes is a dream telling you a story and I wanted to capture that story teller ship.Editing
Most of my work is in lightroom very simple process I work on highlights, shadows and some contrast. I try to keep my photos real the same way I see it I'm not a Photoshop friendly user so I don't do anything unreal which sometimes I think I should learn more about it.In my camera bag
I switched gear now I have a Canon 5D Mark II, Canon 24-105mm f/4L, Canon 70-200mm f/4L, Lee filters, Silk Tripod.Feedback
I'm originally from El Salvardor I moved to California 15 years ago I always find great places going to the coast which California has a beautiful coastal views.
