Location
This was taken in lower antelope canyon, near page AZTime
I was told that around 10 am was one of the better times to take photos in the canyon, the lines and times can be long so plan on requesting your time slot to be about 30-40 min earlierLighting
It’s very dark in the canyon, in most cases tripods aren’t really allowed, during winter it’s easier to get a photography tour (allowing for a tripod) a camera and lens combo that can take photos in low light are worth while, it’s incredibly red and orange in the canyon as well, take a moment and set your white balanceEquipment
Fujifilm GFX 50s (small medium format) and the Fuji 23mm F4Inspiration
I’m from kanab Utah and love the southern Utah/northern AZ desertEditing
Adjusting colors and contrast are key to evoke that feeling of squeezing through the canyonIn my camera bag
A Fuji APSC camera, right now the XH1, usually with the 56mm f1.2 and the 16mm f1.4, and my FUJI GFX with a 45mm f2.8Feedback
Just remember how dark it is, also how wide of a lens you want 18mm or wider in 35mm format. Also at least an f4.
