Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on my deck. Skye is a juvenile hummingbird who kept flying around me, checking me out, so I got out one of the hand feeders.

Time

The hummingbirds in my area seem to be most active early morning or just before sunset - but Skye was a youngster, so he came to visit early afternoon.

Lighting

I try to use all natural lighting as much as I can, this is all natural lighting.

Equipment

This photo was actually taken with my cell phone - a Galaxy Note 8.

Inspiration

I adore hummingbirds, and love interacting with them.

Editing

I did no post-processing.

Feedback

If you want to catch a hummingbird in a tion, my best advice is LOTS of patience!
