Behind The Lens

Location

At a small pond By the Erie Canal between Locks 32 and 33 at Brighton/Pittsford NY ( Rochester suburbs)

Time

In the evening just after sunset

Lighting

I went for a pot shoot of the sunset but became attracted by the beautiful reflection in this pond

Equipment

Nikon D 700, Tamron 16 - 300 lens, Vanguard tripod (carbon fiber), No Flash

Inspiration

my inspiration came from the beauty of the subject matter, especially the color of the sky. I also love reflection photographs

Editing

Post processing was basic Adobe Lightroom

In my camera bag

My main equipment these days are Nikon D 850, Nikkor 28 - 300, Nikkor 105mm macro, Tamron 10 - 24mm, ND filter _ 1 -10, A polaroid filter, micro fiber lens cleaner, Waterproof camera hood and small tower for rainy occasions. A small head light when darkness is a factor

Feedback

Just do some scouting to find a suitable venue
