I would LOVE to see this square, fliped over, with a crop so the marble is the focus... I can't imagine looking at the marble, and realizing the photo is upside down! This is great!!!

Location
This shot was taken looking down the long walk towards Windsor Castle, Berkshire, UKTime
Taken at 18:50 on an August eveningLighting
The sky was cloudy with some blue breaks, so I had plenty of light.Equipment
Canon 6D 24-105L f4 - shot at 60mmInspiration
The trend to use these glass orbs had recently started. I was looking for something different. The long walk in the background was a perfect example of leading lines to a well known location.Editing
The raw file looked a little flat. LR editing to bring down the Highlights, boosted the contrast and clarity, and adjusted the temp up a little. Job done - that's the image I had in mind.In my camera bag
I shoot mainly with the Canon 6D. My favourite lens is the EF 70-200 MKii, but use 24-105L for landscape work. 16-35L ii on occasions. I like to be prepared, so Lee filters (10 stop) and a infrared filter, shutter release cable and a couple of Canon 600EX-RTs with Phottix Odin triggers are also not far away. My tripod of choice with a good balance of price<>weight<>stability is the Manfrotto 190go.Feedback
Look for something different. Be inspired by other people's work, and make it your own. A different aspect makes a world of difference to any shot. We are so used to taking a shot from our normal standing position, but that's how we see the world everyday. Get down to a lower level, or up high and you will see the world in a whole different light.
