The title says it all. Sadly and admittedly, this was my very first attempt to shoot that famous solar eclipse from San Bernardino, California which flopped due to my accidentally leaving the aperture on my entry-level Canon PowerShot SX160 IS digital camera opened too wide.....
I am still learning how to use that camera as I have been a serious diehard film photography hobbyist for 60 years However, I believe I got more than what I bargained for by accidentally ending up with this photo I took with my lens in its telephoto mode revealing that smaller white object near the Sun. Could that object be that alleged planet Nibiru about which people including those self-styled "prophets of doom and gloom" are talking on YouTube and elsewhere? That issue is presently conjectural but who knows what the future will reveal? Whether or not this photo will ever amount to anything remains to be seen.
