Taken on Ross Island Antarctica from McMurdo Station. Over looking the frozen ocean to Hut Point a small peninsula of Ross Island home to Robert F Scott's hut and Vince's cross. Mountains in the far background are part of the Antarctic continent.
In the sky in rare form filling the sky are Nacreous clouds. Very beautiful to look at though a bit hard on the Ozone I am told. Last year we had but a few here and there instances, this day a large part of the sky was filled.
