One of the first shots anyone gets when visiting Venice is of the gondolas. I didn't want to pass on this iconic image but didn't want to confine to the norm. When I passed this pier with the tall wooden posts jutting out I know there was potential for a great shot; so I pulled up a seat and waited. I didn't have to sit for long for a Gondola passed and I was able to snap this moment.
