The Petrohué falls at the upper reaches of the Petrohué River in Chile are comparatively short but certainly make up for it in vigour and power! With an average of 270 m3 torrenting over them per second the roar can be hear well before you reach them. I wanted to capture the power and force of the water in this shot. If I had used a long exposure the amount of spray would have created a soft messy shot so I decided to shoot as fast as I could and try to freeze the water and mist to demonstrate the drama infront of me.
