Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken t th high tide mark, at Summerville Beach, Nova Scotia

Time

It was early evening, late spring.

Lighting

It was quite foggy that day, it had just finished raining...

Equipment

I took this on my iPhone 6s Plus, I used the “noir” setting in the camera app.

Inspiration

I was eager to take some shots with my then new phone, so I took a stroll along the beach in the fog and rain to search for inspiration, when I happened on the log... I said to myself, hmmm maybe...

Editing

None...

In my camera bag

I only shoot with my iPhone.

Feedback

It was a quick shot, I just adjusted the setting to Noir, balanced the phone on the end of the log and pressed the shutter button; I didn’t even stop to take a second shot... it was literally that quick... It was a right place, right time, right filter moment...
