Behind The Lens

Location

Copenhagen, Denmark

Time

Late afternoon in June.

Lighting

Natural sunlight, no flash.

Equipment

Canon EOS Rebel T5, handheld, kit lens that came with the camera.

Inspiration

I was walking along the path on my way out of the park and saw these flowers. I liked how they were different from the other flowers I had seen. I had a good angle and wanted to get this bunch of flowers in focus, so I zoomed in a little to highlight just these flowers.

Editing

No post-processing done.

In my camera bag

Camera, lens, sometimes a small tripod. If I am going on a planned photoshoot, i will take my large tripod. I usually take my small Canon Powershot with me and my iPhone too. I was traveling when I took this photo so did not have my large tripod with me as it is bulky to carry.

Feedback

Use available light (sunlight, flash). Be spontaneous. Walk around until you see an angle that suits your needs. Try varying focal lengths. Have fun!
