Being nocturnal it is already difficult to encounter these charismatic animals and being very shy as well makes it even more difficult to take decent images. I was lucky enough to book a badger hide out in the Ardennes (Belgium) with good sightings. Sadly shortly after this one emerged it got spooked by something and they either left through a different exit of the burrow or decided to stay below ground..
