Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at home in my bathroom.

Time

It was taken mid afternoon, so that there was plenty of light.

Lighting

This was taken using only available natural light.

Equipment

I shoot with a Nikon D750, 50mm lens, nothing else.

Inspiration

This photo was taken as a celebration, my daughter was born 7 weeks early and tube fed. I had to express for her and had a supply of milk in the freezer. When this passed its expiry for her to drink we celebrated with a milk bath instead.

Editing

Only a little touch up and colour correction in lightroom.

In my camera bag

My camera and three primes, a 35mm, 50mm and 85mm. I love using these three, they are super sharp and perfect for most scenarios.

Feedback

Find your favourite flowers, run a shallow bath and pour in enough milk to make the water opaque, have fun and create some memories.
